Eyebright Optometry
The Challenge
Eyebright Optometry is an independent optometry practice in Nerang on the Gold Coast, offering eye tests, contact lens fitting, children’s vision care and ocular health management. In a local market where national optical chains spend heavily on search, Eyebright needed to be found by people actively looking for an optometrist nearby. The brief was simple: turn local searches into booked appointments and phone calls, keep the cost of each new patient enquiry low, and show clearly what the ad budget was delivering.
The Solution
Rather than spreading a modest budget thin, we built a single, tightly focused Google Search campaign around the searches that signal someone is ready to book, such as eye tests and local optometrist searches across Eyebright’s catchment. Ad copy and call assets were written to move people straight to an online booking or a phone call. Behind the campaign, GA4 conversion tracking captures every online booking click, website call, enquiry form and email click, while the linked Google Business Profile records calls and directions requests from Google Maps. Ongoing keyword, search term and bid optimisation keeps spend pointed at the enquiries that matter, and AgencyAnalytics reporting gives Eyebright a clear, transparent view of results every month.
Results
Since launching in April 2023, the campaign has delivered more than 840 patient enquiries for Eyebright. Compared with its first six months, more than one in five ad clicks now turns into an online booking, call or enquiry, at almost half the original cost, and monthly enquiries have nearly doubled. July 2026 was the standout month of the past year, with 30 enquiries and a 32.8% conversion rate, and over the last 12 months the ads also drove 77 directions requests and 96 calls from Eyebright’s Google Maps listing.
